Here is a classical artist who plays by her own rules. Equally at home navigating a complex Bach fugue, improvising multimedia soundscapes, or researching artificial intelligence, Margarita Pinkosz bridges the gap between centuries-old keyboard traditions and the cutting edge of contemporary art.
Born in Kyiv to pianist parents, Margarita’s musical training began at age four at the Lysenko National Music School. By age six, after moving to Poland, she was already debuting on stage at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw. At eleven, she took home double First Prizes at an international competition in Brest, France—competing against seasoned adult musicians. Her relentless curiosity eventually led her across Europe and the U.S., earning three Master’s degrees from the Paris Conservatory, the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she studied harpsichord under Dr. Corey Jamason.
